Heather Vescent is a cybersecurity futurist, strategic foresight researcher, and keynote speaker with over a decade of experience helping governments, Fortune 500 companies, and industry organizations understand the impact of emerging technology before it arrives.
She is the founder of The Purple Tornado, a foresight and strategic intelligence consultancy. She holds a Master of Science in Strategic Foresight from the University of Houston and has co-authored peer-reviewed research applying foresight methodology to cybersecurity. She is the author of three books, including The Cyber Attack Survival Manual, and has spoken at RSA, TedX, SxSW, SIBOS, IEEE, Identiverse, ACFE, and ASIS, among many others.
